Popular club offers extra session
A popular club for Hartlepool residents aged 50 and over will be running for an extra afternoon over the school summer holidays.
Stranton Senior Club meets every Wednesday afternoon in The Stranton Centre on Westmoreland Street. As well as being a place for people to meet and chat over a cup of tea or coffee, the club often hosts special events such as visits from student hairdressers, manicurists and aromatherapists.
The club has proved so popular that organisers will be running it for an extra afternoon over the six-week summer break.
The trial sessions will run from 1pm until 3pm every Friday afternoon for six weeks from Friday 29 July. Each session costs £1 per person.
